My name is Amy and I am a HUGE beauty junkie. My mom used, and still does to this day, Clinique’s Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion. Hence she always is at one Clinique counter or another when they have their bonus gift time because one is always in the gift. I thought to myself this must be the miracle cream of all creams. Boy was I missing out. When my mom would shop at the Clinique counter I started to explore the other counters, including Estee Lauder, Clarins, Lancome, Chanel, Origins & Shiseido. It was as if a whole new world opened up to me. And then of course there were the shopping trips to Harmon’s Discount. When I saw their makeup section, all I know is that there was no turning back. Many times when we went to Harmon’s my mom would say “We are going in and out, no dawdling around.” I always dashed over to the makeup section, like a kid busting into Dylan’s candy bar. Every time I was there I saw more and more products I wanted. I could have stayed there for hours. As the years went by I found out about many other beauty lines, including Bobbi Brown, Laura Mercier, MAC, Stila, Tarte, Smashbox, Too Faced, Benefit, Sue Devitt, Trish McEvoy, Chantecaille, NARS, and Bare Escentuals, Mally Beauty, just to name a few. Passing Sephora, and the bottom floor of any department store is VERY dangerous. My most recent beauty shopping arena is QVC. All I can say is WOW!
In addition to makeup and skincare, I will also be sharing motivational & inspirational affirmations & quotes, & my love for Chick Lit. For several years I have been trying to master mindfulness, being in the present moment, being able to accept life as it is (even though I may not like it), and many more ways to bring more positivity, fulfillment and joy into my life.
I’m a 34 years old who is a little girl at heart. I've been married to the love of my life, Jason, since September 5, 2005. I love all Disney princesses, Ariel being my favorite. I remember watching Splash and wanting to be a mermaid. I love swimming, all water sports, and traveling anywhere tropical. I love modern country music. Some of my favorite artists include Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Tim Mcgraw, Rascall Flatts, Kenny Chesney, Sara Evans, just to name a few. I love reading, especially chic lit. Jennifer Weiner and Jen Lancaster are two of my favorite authors.
